Georgetown, CA...At 1:13pm, yesterday the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from an 18-year-old male who reported that he and his 21-year-old brother had been attacked by a mountain lion in a remote area of Darling Ridge Rd. and Skid Rd., Georgetown, CA. The reporting party suffered traumatic injuries to his face and was separated from his brother during the attack.

Washington, DC.....The Justice Department launched the National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center (the Center) which will provide training and technical assistance to law enforcement officials, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, clinicians, victim service and social service providers, community organizations, and behavioral health professionals responsible for implementing laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of people who pose a threat to themselves or others.
