Game, Set & Match For Tennis Racket Assailant

Sonora, CA...Early Sunday afternoon around 1 PM, the Sheriff's Office received several reports of a man with a tennis racket in the Junction Shopping Center assaulting people. A woman at the old McDonald's restaurant reported she was struck with a tennis racket by an unknown man at least five times and suffered minor injuries. The same man had also swung a tennis racket at a KFC employee. The victims did not know the suspect or why he was attacking them. A deputy arrived on scene but the suspect had already left the area.

Alpine County, CA...Rudolph is on standard Presentencing terms. He cannot consume any eggnog, milk or cookies without a doctor's authorization. He is subject to testing for those prohibited substances as well. He is also subject to search of his Reindeer self, sleigh and barn for any prohibited or otherwise illegal substance. Said searches can be performed by any member of law enforcement with or without a warrant at any time of day or night.

Arnold Shooting Occurred In Unsuccessful Robbery Attempt

Arnold, CA...The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office previously reported about an incident that occurred on 12-8-16 where a subject named Robert Hilton, Jr. arrived at the Ebbett’s Pass Fire Department in Arnold with gunshot wounds. A witness, L Amir Amma, told detectives that Hilton had been shot somewhere in the Arnold area while standing outside of his vehicle on the side of the road. The two reported to have been driving between Richmond and the Sacramento area. They provided no initial explanation as to why they were in Calaveras County.

Major Injuries To Wallace Woman In Hwy 12 Collision

Valley Springs, CA...An 18 year old Wallace woman was driving her Honda westbound on SR-12, approaching Southworth Rd. at an unknown speed. A Sacramento woman was driving Vehicle her Mercedes westbound on SR-12, approaching Southworth Rd. directly ahead of the Honda, and was slowing due to stopped traffic ahead. A Valley Springs man was driving Vehicle his Chevrolet eastbound on SR-12, approaching Southworth Rd, at approximately 55 MPH. The Wallace woman failed to stop her Honda in time and the front of it collided with the rear of Mercedes. The force of the impact caused the Honda to spin out of control and into the eastbound traffic lane directly into the path of the Chevrolet.
