Another Drunk Mother DUI in Sonora. This One 4 Times Legal Limit

Sonora, CA...Around 1:45pm on May 21st, Sonora PD received a call of a non injury two vehicle accident in the area of E Lyons St and S Stewart St. Officers responded and contacted Kimberly Smock, age 33 of Sonora, who was driving one of the involved vehicles. It was determined that Smock was driving under the influence with a blood alcohol limit over 4x the legal limit. Smock had her children, ages 4 and 6, in the vehicle with her. She was subsequently arrested and booked into Tuolumne County Jail for DUI and Felony Child Endangerment. The children were unharmed and released to a family member.

Suspect Captured After Search in Burson

Burson, CA...On May 22, 2019, at about 11:45 AM Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Deputies noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway on South Burson RD near Hwy 12, Burson. Deputies attempted to contact driver of the vehicle however, as they approached, the driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Deputies recognized the driver as Johnny Sullivan (35, San Andreas) who had a valid felony warrant for his arrest. Deputies quickly set up a perimeter and requested additional units.

Missing Person Case Takes Tragic, Deadly & Suspicious Turn

Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept...The Community’s Help Needed in Death Investigation. Yesterday afternoon our office received information regarding a truck parked in the area of Fir Drive and Mountain View Road in Sonora that matched the description of the truck owned by a missing Jamestown man, 44-year-old Jeremy Allen.

Sonora, CA...This is 44-year-old Jeremy Allen. Jeremy’s family and roommate have not seen or heard from him since April. Several residents reported seeing his truck (pictured below) parked at a turn out on Cotton Wood Road in Tuolumne, but it is no longer in the area. Jeremy is described as 6’2” tall, 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

U.S. Attorney Announces Indictment Of Michael Avenatti For Aggravated Identity Theft, Engaging In A Scheme To Defraud Stormy Daniels

New York, NY...Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and William F. Sweeney Jr., Assistant Director-in-Charge of the New York Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), announced the indictment today of MICHAEL AVENATTI on fraud and aggravated identity theft charges. As alleged, AVENATTI used misrepresentations and a fraudulent document purporting to bear his client’s name and signature to convince his client’s literary agent to divert money owed to AVENATTI’s client to an account controlled by AVENATTI. AVENATTI then spent the money principally for his own personal and business purposes. The fraud and aggravated identity theft case is assigned to U.S. District Judge Deborah Batts of the Southern District of New York.

Con B&B Without Owners Permission Leads to Arrest of Pair in Jamestown Home

Jamestown, CA...Last night deputies responded to a home on Shell Road in Jamestown for reports of a burglary. The homeowner reported he heard from a friend that someone was at his home. When deputies arrived, they found 20-year-old Ronnie Conway of Concord in a Jeep Laredo inside the garage of the home. Conway claimed the homeowner gave him permission to be in the home. Deputies could see drug paraphernalia inside Conway’s Jeep and conducted a search. 33-year-old Leonor Crocker of Pittsburg was found hiding underneath a pile of clothing in the back seat and gave deputies a fake name. Deputies discovered her real name after finding credit cards and a Contra Costa inmate identification card with photo in the vehicle.
