New Comforming Loan Limits!~By Michelle Young

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 03/10/2008 11:16 PM
At LAST! We have a NUMBER! The final analysis has finally been completed by Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac telling us what the new conforming loan limits are for our State. Unfortunately they vary county by county, so if you need information for any counties not listed here, please give me a call, or send me an email for the limits. There are rules that apply to these new loan limits, some lenders will not allow cash out, while others will, some will not allow the loan to be processed until July, some are taking loans now, some are requiring....

The !@#$% May Hit The Cyclone...and That's A Good Thing~By John Hamilton

Posted by: thepinetree on 02/20/2008 06:54 AM
Bear Valley, CA...We had the chance to stop by the Bear Valley Water District Board meeting on Monday where they discussed an alternative to the proposed $12,000,000 conventional treatment plant. Partners from Clean Filtration Technologies gave a presentation on using a cyclonic filtration system and small micron filters instead of the traditional waste treatment facilities. One of the partners in the company is Bear Valley homeowner John Mallard. One of the added benefits of using a system like this is that it may be possible to get the output to "Title 22" standards. This level is needed to for treated water to be sprayed on Ball Fields, Parks, Golf Courses or even Snow Making. One option is for these systems to be built into standard shipping containers. Ray Waller on the Slippery Driveway Slope Issue~By John Hamilton

Posted by: thepinetree on 02/07/2008 02:14 PM
Angels Camp, CA...We had the pleasure to talk for a few minutes with Ray Waller, the former head Calaveras County Building official on the ongoing driveway slope controversy. For those of you who may not remember the county stopped issuing permits for development on parcels where the driveway slope exceeds 16%. This has numerous parcels currently tied up in protraced if not uncloseable escrows and has thrown the value of hundreds of millions of dollars of county real estate and homes into question. We wanted to talk with Ray about this issue because he was with the county and the building department when the original county ordinance was created to comply with state code 4290...
