Calaveras County's Celebrated Jumpers Hit The Road In Snazy Frogmobile |

Frogtown, USA...A snazzy new Frogmobile is transporting Calaveras County's Celebrated Jumping Frogs on their annual public appearance tour. The State Captiol Frog Jump highlights the itinerary on May 6 in Sacramento, with many local stop offs scheduled prior to the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee, May 14-17 at Frogtown. The frogs and their entourage of Frog Jump Committee members/handlers are traveling in luxury in a van wrapped with frog graphics - courtesy of donations from Angels Sewer and Drain and the Wintercreek Foundation. Graphics are by Eric Calialgro.

The Whiskerino Dinner & Dance is one of the events that signals the start of Fair & Frog Jump Season. It starts the buildup to Calaveas County's week in the national and at times international spotlight as Frog Jockies saddle up to see who will reign supreme for another year. Secret ponds will be visited to select the longest jumping green steeds for this year. This year is the 150th Anniversary of the publication of "The Celebrated Jumping Frog Of Calaveras County" this story put Mark Twain and Calaveras County on the map....

Murphys, CA...The expanded stage and new overhead roof at Ironstone is almost ready for Boston, The Doobie Brothers, REO Speedwagon, Robert Cray, Los Lobos, Buddy Guy, Daryl Hall & John Oates & More. It will allow for larger productions and better effects and the ability to hang large led screens on the ends for brighter video images for those further from the stage. Ironstone's beautiful amphitheater will be an even better venue this year for the 2015 Concert Series. There will be better sight lines and improved daylight LED screens. In addition they are making some of our production space even better for the bands...
