Angels Camp CA Frogtown, USA...."Love Me Timber" is the Theme for this year's Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee.....So you ask yourself, What’s Timber Town? Timber Town is the theme area at the Calaveras County Fair. Timber Town will feature the Paul Bunyan Logging show with 3 performances daily. In addition take your photo with Leroy the Lumber Jack. He is bigger than life. There will also be a saw mill, an old engine display and much more. Wood demonstrations will be given by local craftsmen Bob Petithome and Jack Johnson. It was a sunny day and there weren’t many folks out on the slopes. I had finished my shift as a Bear Valley Ambassador. Skiing was going fine and I was feeling good about the day - maybe overconfident, because what I did next was a bit of a stretch even for my typical sense of adventure...

Arnold, CA....It has been a longtime tradition for the Cedar Center in Arnold to host the Easter Bunny every Easter....Please join Cedar Center for its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009. The egg hunt begins at noon for ages 0-11 years and includes a non-sugar section. Find the golden egg and win a prize! Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny - so please bring a camera! Bear Valley, CA....These shots are from Monday 3/23/09 – a glorious 2 foot powder day at Bear Valley. It was bluebird, -11 degrees with high winds which created uber dry, blower snow conditions and dramatic photography. The photo shoot took place off of the West Ridge into Grizzly through the heart of Infinity Bowl and beyond…

Calaveras County, CA...."2008 Princess Kayla Wilson was joined by Miss Calaveras 2003, Crystal Jennings; 2004 Ann Mazzaferro; 2005 Lydia Stafford; and 2007 Princess Amy Mazzaferro at Murphys Irish Days. The young ladies rode in a vintage Ford Model T driven and owned by Firman Brown, President of the Friends of the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee. The Friends were there to promote the on-going "Pot O' Gold" raffle to be held during this years Frog Jump as well as the upcoming Coronation Ball on May 2. The Coronation Ball will be open to the public....
