Murphys, CA...In their fourth season, Shakespeare on the Vine Theatre Company will present William Shakespeare’s comedy The Tempest -- critically thought to be the last play that Shakespeare wrote. The piece will be performed on the outdoor Arden Stage at Brice Station Vineyards. Director, Tara Kayton and her talented company will bring this magical story of family, art, and reunion to life from August 9 to September 1.Twelve years ago, Prospero was the beloved Duke of Milan, but his attention to books caused him to leave the management of his state to his brother, Antonio. Eventually, with the help of Alonso, Queen of Naples, Antonio usurped the dukedom for himself. Prospero and his baby daughter Miranda were put to sea and eventually landed on a fantastical island inhabited only by a native, Caliban, and a powerful spirit, Ariel.

Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley Music Festival is proud to present the real and authentic rock band Pablo Cruise. The group is among the most renowned rock bands formed in San Francisco back in the day, including Santana, Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead. The band is currently composed of David Jenkins (guitar and vocals), Cory Lerios (keyboards and vocals), Steve Price (drums) and Larry Antonino (bass and vocals). Formed in 1973, the band released eight studio albums over the next decade, during which time five singles reached the top 25 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
