Bear Valley, CA. April 6, 2013 ‐ Bear Valley Mountain, the Central Sierra Nevada’s premier family skiing and snowboarding resort, announced today that, weather permitting, the resort plans to close for the winter season following the last day of skiing and riding scheduled for Sunday, April 14, 2013. Several events are planned for closing weekend including the resort’s annual “Reggae on the Mountain”, “Pondskimming” and “Jib Jam” events which are all happening Saturday April 13th, 2013. On the last day of skiing and riding, Sunday April 14th, the resort has more in store, including its annual Season Passholder Appreciation BBQ and the annual “Slush Cup” Giant Slalom, fun race, which benefits the Bear Valley Education Foundation (B.V.S.E.F.).
