Enjoy Grape Stomp and Saturday’s other activities and leave the driving to Calaveras Transit! Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Copperopolis, CA...We are so EXCITED here at The Square!! Get ready for more from the September Concert Series at Copperopolis Town Square. Back every year by popular demand as part of our FREE September Concert Series ....Formally as Journey Revisited we now welcome Jeff Salado's new band "Faithfully" a Tribute to Journey on Saturday, September 30th at 7pm! Don't forget your blankets and chairs and oh yeah your DANCING shoes for a spectacular eve here at The Square! Copperopolis Town Square – the events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host the Copper Concerts series beginning September 2nd and continuing every Saturday through September 30th. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. near the intersection of Town Square Road and Little John Road. Admission to each concert is free. The following acts headline the series: September 2nd – Fuse Box, A High Voltage Tribute to ACDC, September 9th – Max Headroom, 80’s Rocks and Hits, September 16th – Dakota Crossing, Pop and Country Hits, September 24th Dive Bar Poets, A Local Favorite Returns and finally September 30th, Faithfully, A Tribute to Journey featuring vocalist, Jeff Salado.

Copperopolis, Ca...Copperopolis Town Square Celebrates Fall with their 3rd Annual Harvest Fest and Pumpkin Patch Copperopolis Town Square – the events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host their 3rd Annual Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, October 1st from 10am-4pm. The Annual Harvest Festival will take place at 7 p.m. near the intersection of Town Square Road and Little John Road. Admission is free and is guaranteed to be a fun day for all! Families can enjoy a giant Pumkin Patch with photo ops, Food, Craft and Farm Vendors, Games for the kids and Live Music by Danny Burton with Ivory Flats, playing Rock and Country.

Local Film "Common Ground" Nominated For Numerous Awards

West Point, CA...When filmmaker and award-winning writer, Lisa Michelle, of West Point, decided to bring her screenplay, Common Ground, to life, she knew that Calaveras County was the perfect location. The rural atmosphere and the children who reside in West Point, Wilseyville, and Rail Road Flat represented the authenticity in the story that Michelle wanted to tell. The supporting characters and extras were cast entirely from Calaveras County residents.
Jamestown, CA...Do you have your tickets yet? There is a limited supply so make sure you grab one! This fundraiser includes amazing workshops, demos, raffles and dinner. Proceeds benefit the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Unit.

Murphys, CA...Interested in being part of the Calaveras Grape Stomp history? Call now 209/754-0127 or visit https://calaveraswinealliance.ticketspice.com/grape-stomp-entry-form to register your team and celebrate one of the most anticipated events in the region, drawing large, loud crowds and scores of stomp teams, many festooned in original costume. If coming in costume, you must register in costume but you need not stomp in costume. Costumes are judged on originality, workmanship, etc. Registration entry fee is $70 per team of two. Besides partaking of the usual great food, wine, Raffle Tickets for either a New Zealand or Australia Wine Experince will be sold all day and a silent auction takes place throughout the day, with live auction on stage, Stomp goers witnessed another fierce competition between teams vying for the title of the Calaveras Grape Stomp Champion. Stomp Teams are composed of two persons, one inside a half barrel filled with 25 pounds of grapes, another outside the barrel reaching in to ensure a smooth flow of juice out the drain spot.
