Douglas Flat, CA...We stopped by Chatom Vineyards yesterday to see how their preparations were going for Passport Weekend. They already had the winery decorated and ready to go. We also had the pleasure to meet Marlene Wilkinson who will be their new Wine Club, Marketing & Promotions Director. She is pictured below with Chatom's Owner Gay Callan. They are standing behind a festive bar and are ready and waiting to help make this years Passport Weekend the best yet...

Douglas Flat, CA....Chatom Vineyards has alot of great events planned for your Summer! To Start off they have a Wine Tasting Event at Camps in Greenhorn Creek on June 18th. Chatom Vineyards is delighted to join the gang at Camps Restaurant at Greenhorn Creek for a Wine Tasting Wednesday June 18th from 4-6pm. Irish Vineyards Takes 2nd Place in the KCRA 3 A-list Competition!

Vallecito, CA....Winners names were just released today in the Winery division of the KCRA 3 A-list competition. Out of 84 Wineries nominated in California, Irish Vineyards took 2nd Place putting Calaveras County wines on the map again. Most of the wineries nominated were from Calaveras, Amador, El Dorado and San Joaquin Counties. Visit the link below to see the top five winners and a complete list of the nominated wineries. WWI Exhibit at Ironstone Vineyards Continues Through June 8th ~By Hanna Heath

Murphys, CA….The traumatic World War One began in the year 1914 and officially ended in 1919, when all the treaties had been signed, although fighting had ceased on November 11th 1918. Since then many authentic equipment and artifacts have been found and put into museums, some items in which have never been used. Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys has many unique items on display in their museum……

Murphys, CA….Hundreds of people turned out for the Annual Festival of Wine fundraiser held on Saturday. It was an enjoyable event where family and friends could stroll downtown Murphys, enjoy delectable hors d’oeuvres, and sample extraordinary wines from Calaveras Counties finest wineries. The day started with check in where participants received a Festival of Wine engraved tasting wine glass. 19 different wineries participated in the event and had qualified staff to answer any questions about their specific wines…..

Murphys, CA…. Ironstone Vineyards was in full bloom for Daffodil Days 2008, this weekend. The yellow celebration included food, wine, art and thousands of daffodils. Ironstone has 14 acres of approximately 500,000 daffodils in bloom during this time of year, creating a yellow field of blooms along the road into the vineyards and winery….
