Posted by: thepinetree on 07/25/2009 06:45 AM
Washington, DC...I recently heard from a small business owner from New Jersey who wrote that he employs eight people and provides health insurance for all of them. But his policy goes up at least 20 percent each year, and today, it costs almost $1,400 per family per month – his highest business expense besides his employees’ salaries. He’s already had to let two of them go, and he may be forced to eliminate health insurance altogether...

President Barack Obama Talks About 21st Century Financial Regulatory Reform

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/17/2009 09:38 PM
Washington, DC...ince taking office, my administration has mounted what I think has to be acknowledged as an extraordinary response to a historic economic crisis. Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 03/02/2009 09:06 AM
Washington, DC...In the Weekly Address, President Obama explains how the budget he sent to Congress will fulfill the promises he made as a candidate. On fiscal responsibility, a fair tax code, a clean energy economy, real health care reform, and education, this budget sets out a new vision for our country. But having put his priorities on paper and having stood behind them, the President recognizes that there are those who will fight against change every step of the way. Watch the full address and read the transcript below.....

Sacramento, CA...“There is opportunity in every crisis and President Obama is right to seize our global economic emergency as a time to lay a more solid foundation for our nation’s growth.
