| Rain Delay! THE PARTY for Youth Mentoring Will Now Take Place Saturday, June 22, 2019 |
Vallecito, CA...Due to cold, wet, nasty weather forecast for this weekend, THE PARTY is on “rain delay” and will now take place Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 6-10pm at Vida Buena Farm, 3286 Vallecito Bypass Road, Vallecito. This year’s theme is “Boots and Bling” and tickets are only $40 per person, available now at CalaverasMentoring.org or by calling 209-736-7706.
Ticket holders can simply hang on to their tickets for the new date or contact the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation for a refund if necessary. Keys to the treasure chest will be held until the new date as well.
THE PARTY is the largest annual fundraiser for the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program. Sponsors who have already “pardnered up” to make this year’s event successful include Angela and Marv Hanson, Tad and Jane Bottomley-Winans, Mark Twain Medical Center, Mark Twain Health Care District, Dr. and Mrs. William Griffin, Bert and Jane Lucas, Calaveras County Office of Education, Bank of Stockton, Richard and Margaret Mills, John Adams and Rhoda Nussbaum, Timothy J. Winner of the 2019 Non-Profit of the Year Award from the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce, the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program connects local youth with safe, positive mentors who offer friendship, opportunity, and support for making healthy life decisions. The Calaveras Mentoring Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for youth mentoring in Calaveras County.
