| Val du Vino Winery revels in the holidays with the taste of Art and Wine! |
Stop on by the winery Saturday November 28, 2009 from Noon till 5pm and grab yourself a glass of luscious Val du Wino wine. This season’s festivities include Calaveras Counties’ premier artists and their affordable art works for sale (your loved ones will adore these extraordinary gifts you lavish upon them). Featured at this year’s event includes Elie Frey- Precious metal jeweler, Elie ’s unique spin on reversible jewelry has been sold in art galleries and designer stores through out the country. Staria Stine, a local ceramicist and modern "hunter-gatherer," incorporates a rare approach to the traditional methods of clay fabrication. Also featured in the line up are; Joni Taylor, botanical watercolorist with an extraordinary display of tropical flower paintings, June and Bill Vaughn mixed media clay ceramics and Kurt Dunajski a multi- faceted musician and blacksmith with metal forged flowers and sculpture.
