Murphys Grade Road Resurfacing on October 17th
Angels Camp & Murphys, CA...Roadway resurfacing will be conducted on Saturday, October 17, 2020 as part of the Murphys Grade Road Overlay and Microsurface Project. The roadway work will be along Murphys Grade Road between Angels Camp and the town of Murphys. Traffic lanes will be reduced to one lane with the use of flaggers, pilot cars and warning devices. Estimated construction activity will be during daylight hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be construction crews and equipment on site, so please drive with caution.
Calaveras County Public Works Department and our contractor Tom Mayo Construction appreciate your cooperation and will do everything we can to complete the project on schedule.

THE PARTY TO GO!
The Calaveras Mentoring Foundation presents The Party To Go on Saturday October 17 from 3pm until 6. Proceeds will support youth and young adult mentoring in Calaveras County. The event consists of a Parking Lot Pick-Up Dinner for Two from Lila and Sage of baby back ribs, yummy mac & cheese, green salad, artisan bread and cookies for $80. At time of purchase, ticket holders will choose a pick-up location in either Murphys or Angels Camp. On the same day, an on-line auction will begin and run for five days. Just a few of the items for auction are a week in Punta de Mita, Mexico, a sightseeing flight,” a Two-day South Fork Rafting Trip for Four from O.A.R.S., and a fabulous two-night VIP package at the Grand Reserve Inn including dinner at Taste in Plymouth, CA.
