All Day Make Plans Now...The Calaveras County Fair & Frog Jump Jubilee Is May 19 - 22
Frogtown, USA....Our moment in the national spotlight runs May 19 - 22 this year. It is small town Americana with Jumping Frogs thrown in.

All Day Tributes to the Great, Rock On At Frogtown!!!
Angels Camp, CA...(Frogtown, USA)...Classic rock vibes will echo at Frogtown every night of the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee. Four distinct tribute bands will rock the Lawn Stage at 8 p.m. Rockin Down the Hiway! - Doobie Hits and Musical Trips will perform on Thursday. Boston Rocks will take the stage Friday and Journey Unauthorized is slated for Saturday. The Boys of Summer - a tribute to the music of the EAGLES is set for Sunday.

f621ea60-2b49-40b2-b755-7b050a6fbec7
Rockin Down the Hiway! is best known for their all-hits, road-themed show playing a list of well known songs about travel, hot rods, cruising, trucks, buses, train, highways and America's love of automobiles and the open road. They have added a full set of greatest hits by the Doobie Brothers. Seasoned musicians in this group are - Tommy "T-Bird" King, band leader, front man, lead vocalist, keyboard and harmonica player; "Cadillac Jack" Hurst - lead guitar; "Drivin'" Darin Wilson, guitar, lead and backing vocals and a multi-instrumentalist who also plays bass and keyboards; "Jalopy Jeff" Viducich, bass and vocals and Robert "The Roadster" Mills - drummer who joined the band this year, drummer.

Boston Rocks is new to the tribute scene with energetic vibes from Boston, the iconic band out of its namesake city that skyrocketed to success during the 1970s and 1980s. Boston Rocks includes Jay Baysinger on keyboards and vocals; John Medina on drums and vocals, Reed "Clackers" Kay on bass guitar and vocals and Dallas Perkins on guitar and vocals.

Journey Unauthorized has performed over 350 shows worldwide since 2007, more than any other Journey tribute band. Critics say no other rendition of Journey's music comes close to this level of performance, which has taken years of mastery and unmatched attention to detail. Band members are Perry Stevens, lead vocalist; Joel Pelletier, keyboards and background vocals; Damion Mantle, electric and acoustic guitar; Jimmy Wells, drums and percussion and Stephen Goodwin, bass and vocals.

The Boys of Summer make their homes in different parts of the U.S. They re-create some of the greatest music ever written. With well over 400 high profile shows since 2004, they are becoming known as the top touring Eagles tribute band in America. The Boys include Jimmy Williamson, drums and vocals; Darrel Mnson, lead vocals and guitar; Chris Turbis, keyboards, guitars and vocals; Craig T. Fall, lead guitar and vocals; Willy Winkler and Jerry Schaeffer, bass and vocals.

In addition to classic rock, the Fair entertainment lineup also caters to country music fans. Country rock superstars Little Texas from Nashville, is the headliner on the Main Stage Friday night at 8 p.m. The group recently released a new album "Young For A Long Time," their first since 2007's "Missing Years." Since their debut album in 1992, Little Texas has sold over seven million albums, earned threeGrammy nominations, won a CMA Album Of The Year award and earned the title "The Hardest Working Band In Country" by playing over 300 shows a year!
