Pick, taste, and enjoy all the crops that were planted last Spring. This is a new event to connect families with gardening and introduce them to nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables. Children will prepare “Garden Bounty Salsa” after enjoying a “veggie scavenger hunt”. Other fun FREE activities will include “make and take” bird feeders, seed tapes for fall planting, and herb “Tussy Mussies”.

Live Musical Performance by The Stardust Cowboys (11 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 - 2 p.m.)

The Stardust Cowboys have nearly 30 years entertaining across the Western States delivering Cowboy & Western Swing music. An award winning band stacked with outstanding talent in songwriting, dynamic instrumentals & vocal harmonies featuring many originals including western traditional tunes reminisce of the ’40s-’50s Bob Wills, Spade Cooley & Gene Autry eras.

3-Acres of Historical Exhibits

Home to one of the largest collections of wagons and carriages in the nation, Angels Camp Museum is a destination. Visitors can stroll through the beautifully landscaped historical park to explore extensive indoor and outdoor exhibits that include a doctor's office and The Mark Twain Exhibit, as well as ranching and artisan exhibits. Continuing through the museum, visitors can also view two steam traction engines and exhibits highlighting mining equipment such as an overshot water-wheel in its original location, a hydraulic monitor, drills, ore cars, and even a working model of a famous stamp mill.

Please come and support local charities at the Murphys-Angels Lions Club 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held Saturday, September 13th at Sequoia Woods Country Club in Arnold, CA. at 1:00 pm. Great raffle prizes (complete set of Warrior Custom Golf Clubs) wine auction. $90 entry fee includes green fee, cart and tri tip/chicken dinner. All proceeds to benefit local charities. 03:30 PM - 07:30 PM Mountain Derby Girls Double Header
Local Roller Derby Update: September 13th the Mountain Derby Girls are facing off against Merced’s Rollin’ Roulettes and the Junior Hellcats will take on Silicon Valley Roller Girls Web Bruisers at High Country Sports Arena in Sonora. Doors open at 3:30 pm, juniors skate at 4 pm and the adults at 6 pm. Tickets are good for both games!

Last month, the Mountain Derby Girls visited the Hanford Hooligans for a heated bout with your local girls taking the win at 309 to 51. The juniors have been preparing for their rematch against the Web Bruisers since they squeaked ahead to a win earlier this summer.

Presale tickets are available from your favorite derby girl, Jamestown Harley Davidson, and in Sonora at Togo’s, Mountain Vapors, and Sonora Creamery. Tickets are also available online at BrownPaperTickets.com and at the door! Presale tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Tickets at the door go up to $15 so be sure to get your sale price! This game features a special ticket price at the door for Columbia College students with Fall 2014 student ID of only $5!

This family friendly event features a kid-zone, snack bar, but also a beer garden for the adults. Mountain Derby Girls are currently recruiting! Come visit High Country Sports Arena on Thursdays to join. High Country’s local roller derby league features skaters from across Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. Junior roller derby includes skaters of all levels, ages 8-17. No experience necessary! We have gear and skills to teach you everything you need to know to skate with us.

A no host bar will be available. The cost of the all you can eat meal is $13.00.
Bingo cards will sell for $1.00 a card. There will be cash prizes.
We will play ten games with a fifteen minute intermission in between.
All proceeds benefit the operation of our Community Hall.
