San Andreas Rumble
The Race is ON…
To Register your CAR for the San Andreas Rumble.
Classic Car Show & Swap Meet -Cars 1976 or older,
space is limited to 100 cars
The San Andreas Merchants Association presents the San Andreas Rumble
Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 9:00-3:00 at Calaveras Government Center in San Andreas on Mountain Ranch Road.
The day will be filled with Great Cars to view, with car displays including the Calaveras High School demonstration, food, music, and silent auction.
For all the early birds..The 49er's Lions Club will be serving up a delicious breakfast,
The event is free to the public.
Car Pre-registration is $20 per car includes guaranteed dash plaque and space
(pre-registration has been extended to July 14)
Drive up entry fee is $30 per car with no guarantee of a plaque or space,
Swap Meet booth fees are $25 and $35 and Food booth fees are $25.
Note: Cars are self-parked on a first come basis, once parked, proceed to the check in booth for car card and number.
Trophies will be presented for Best of Show, Best Original, Best Truck, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Street Rod, Best Mopar, Best Chevy, Best Ford, and Best Rat Rod.

Murphys Homecoming
The Murphys Community Club’s traditional Murphys Homecoming will be celebrated on Saturday, July 19. The Calaveras Community Band will kick off the festivities with a concert starting at 11:30 a.m. Other activities will include the Old Timers Luncheon for local residents who are at least 70 years of age and have lived in the area for ten years or more. There will also be the greatly anticipated duck races that benefit the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Foundation. The Murphys Community Club will be selling hot dogs, potato salad, ice cream bars, wine and other beverages. There is no admission charge.

Guided Hike, Big Trees State Park - 209-795-3840
Free, however, entrance fee $10 ($12 on holiday weekends) per carload applies. Guided hikes available year round. When the snow covers the ground they become guided snowshoe walks every Saturday at 1pm. Snowshoes are provided free, first come first served. No reservations are allowed. Check in at the Warming Hut no later than 12:30 pm.

It's Yappy Hour in Tuolumne County. Join us for an exclusive bus tour and sample three of our local Tuolumne County wineries with family, friends, and neighbors. Then after your tour, you'll be treated to a dinner catered by local culinary artist, Dave Ingram, of Chef Dave Cooks! We'll have raffle prizes along with silent and live auctions featuring works by local artists, some incredible jewelry finds, and some other unique treasures. Space is limited to 53 for the bus tour and 80 for dinner so reserve your spot early.
