Free Museum Admission in December
The Calaveras County Historical Society invites guests to tour the museum for free for the month of December. Our Downtown Museum is located at 30 N. Main Street, San Andreas and is open daily 10-4. The Red Barn Museum is open Thursday - Sunday 10-4.

Christmas Home Tour & Dinner
The First Congregational Church of Murphys is sponsoring their 2nd Annual Christmas Home Tour with an “All You Can Eat” Soup & Salad Supper on Saturday, December 8 from 4 until 7 pm. Tickets are $25 each providing access to four beautifully decorated Murphys locations. Three have not been toured before including newly renovated “The Garden” at the 19th century James Inks House near the library and a visit with Santa at a private Garden Green House. Dinner will be served in the church social hall, 509 Algiers at Church Street, Murphys. Dinner guests will have an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and listen to Patti Hennessee at the piano. Participants may start the leisurely tour at any of the five locations to minimize congestion and maximize their enjoyment. Proceeds will support the many charitable organizations and programs supported by the church. For tickets and information, call Del Harris at 209-728-8326.
