Museum Day @ Angels Camp Museum
On Saturday, September 27, 2014 the Angels Camp Museum will join participating museums and cultural institutions nationwide to open their doors free of charge to all visitors who download a Museum Day Ticket. Museum Day is an annual nation-wide celebration of the dissemination of knowledge to anyone and everyone interested, without a price tag, emulating the free admission policy of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington, D.C.-based facilities.

Alpine County Search and Rescue Fundraiser
fundraiser that will be happening on September 27th, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Perry Walthers building in Bear Valley. We will be having an Oktoberfest celebration to raise money to support Alpine County's search and rescue. At the event there will be traditional german food, beer, music, a silent auction and a raffle. More details to come. We would appreciate both the attendance of as many people as possible and any donations towards our silent auction and raffle.
