All Day Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) Announces Annual Competitive Grants Period for 202
Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras Community Foundation is seeking applicants for its 2022 competitive grant process. Any project submitted by a qualified applicant will be considered. A wide variety of projects is being sought, but because of new funding sources available this year, special emphasis will also be placed on applications addressing food scarcity, mental health issues and substance abuse education and prevention.

Non-profit groups, schools and government agencies in Calaveras County are encouraged to focus on that special project that could make a difference in people’s lives, or make changes benefitting the county or groups.

The application period is from July 1, 2022 through July 31, 2022. Applications will only be accepted via email: info@calaverascommunityfoundation.org

Complete details, application guidelines and fillable forms are now available in the “Grants and Scholarships” area of the CCF website: www.calaverascommunityfoundation.org

The generosity of individual donors and corporate partners allow CCF to continue to fund viable projects benefitting our county residents. Since its inception in 2000, CCF has provided more than $2,800,000 in competitive grants, scholarships and assistance.

All Day CSTARS Presents Annie July 22 - 24 in Angels Camp
Angels Camp, CA...Based on the popular comic strip, Annie tells the extraordinary story of a little orphan who ends up in the lap of luxury with Depression-era billionaire Oliver Warbucks, and his secretary, Grace Farrell. Unlike most of the other children at Miss Hannigan's orphanage, spunky Annie believes that her parents are still alive and will one day return to claim her. So when Mr. Warbucks offers to adopt her, she asks the most powerful man in America to help find her real mom and dad instead, and he agrees. Warbucks' whopping reward for Annie's parents attracts the attention of con artists Rooster, Lily, and the wicked Miss Hannigan, who hatch a plot to kidnap Annie and take the $50,000 reward. But don't fret: this classic family musical has a happy ending for Annie, Grace, Daddy Warbucks, and the whole gang.

The stage went dark for a few years. But...the sun will come out tomorrow! Join 30+ talented CSTARS actors as they present their first performance back from the COVID shutdown and come support the arts in Calaveras County.

One weekend only! July 22, 2022 - July 24, 2022
