All Day Tuolumne County Farm & Ranch Tour is Saturday, June 11, 10am to 4pm
Soulsbyville, CA...Visit our five host farms to celebrate Tuolumne County agriculture! Guests drive to each host farm for tours and fun! Family friendly event. Lots of animals - horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, cows, rabbits. Gardening workshops. Train rides. Orchard tours. State-of-the-art greenhouse tour. Products, crafts, food, plants for sale. Free wine tasting. Delicious lunch available for purchase day of event.






Tour Ticket Price: Adults (18 and over) pre-sale $12. Day of event $15. FREE to those 17 years and under. Tickets available at TCFarms.Org, at Sonora Certified Farmers Market on May 28 and June 4, Nature's Whole Food Depot in Standard, Columbia Mercantile 1855 in Columbia or at your first tour stop on June 11.

**Proceeds from the Farm and Ranch Tour help fund Farms of Tuolumne County Agricultural Grant Program to assist qualified county youth with agricultural projects. Youth apply to FOTC with a description of their agricultural projects. They also do an in-person presentation to the FOTC Board of Directors. The Board selects one (sometimes two) projects to fund. Since 2011 FOTC has donated over $20,000 to county youth involved in agriculture. FOTC also helps sponsor agricultural seminars and summits.

Examples of projects FOTC has funded are Mother Lode Junior Adventist Academy School Garden, Juvenile Detention Center Garden, FFA projects, 4-H projects, Kids Day at Peaceful Valley Farmers Market.

All Day Ironstone Wine & Art Festival
Murphys, CA...Ironstone Wine & Art Festival held June 11 & 12 from 10am to 5pm each day is the perfect weekend addition honoring Ironstone Vineyards' motto, “Come for the wine, stay for the day.” Covering 12 lush acres, Ironstone Vineyards offers wine tasting, dining, fabulous gardens, and is the beautiful backdrop for this exciting, inaugural Ironstone Wine & Art Festival.









Ironstone’s Amphitheatre is where you’ll find 50 artists showcasing their original, handcrafted artwork in a variety of fine arts and fine crafts media including paintings, woodwork, jewelry, finely crafted wearables and more. The artists will be on-site to engage with patrons about their purchases. Live ambience music and delicious food and wine provide a shopping respite and opportunity to sit back and appreciate the art and the Vineyards’ peaceful surroundings. In addition to the art’s visual delights, there will be fun activities for the entire family including face painting, wine tasting (but, of course!) and much more.

Visit Ironstone Vineyards and the Ironstone Wine & Art Festival on June 11 & 12 — an open air art gallery with so much for all to enjoy! Free admission, easy parking.

2022 Rummage to the Rescue Sale and Fundraiser

Join us for our annual 2022 Rummage to the Rescue sale and fundraiser to be held in the Humane Society of Tuolumne County’s (HSOTC) conference room located at 10040 Victoria Way in Jamestown, CA on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 from 7:30AM – 2:00PM and admission is free.

This event features a wide variety of items, both new and slightly used, including artwork, pet supplies, craft supplies, housewares and home goods, camping gear, clothing, and much more! All proceeds from this event will directly benefit our shelter animals and COVID safety guidelines will be followed. .

09:00 AM - 12:00 PM FREE Dog and Cat Rabies Vaccination & Microchipping Clinic
San Andreas, CA...Take advantage of our last clinic before Fall! If you have a dog or cat in need of a Rabies vaccine or microchip, come on down to see us June 11th! This clinic is open and free to all Calaveras County residents only. Just bring your dog on a leash, cat in a carrier, or both! There are no limits on number of animals you may bring.


While we don't charge a dime for these services, donations are greatly appreciated and what helps us keep these services going. Cathy Gatlin, DVM will be the attending veterinarian at this clinic.

All dogs 4 months and older are required by law to be vaccinated for Rabies and licensed in Calaveras County. The Animal Services office will be open to assist with licensing.

11:00 AM Enjoy Wine Camp Chardonnay at Hovey Winery
Murphys, CA...Join us as we kick off the first session in this 4-part series featuring the "Best White Wine in Calaveras County" according to the 2022 Sierra Foothills Wine Competition.

These member only events will be hosted by industry expert, Tom Bender. You will learn about the nuances of specific varietals by enjoying vertical flights of different vintages as well as barrel samples from unreleased vintages. Tom will explain what is meant by body, color, clarity, nose, finish, mouthfeel and other "wine" terms. Wine lovers at all levels will enjoy and benefit from Tom's insights. Each event will include tastings of the featured wine and food pairings that highlight the features of each wine.

Columbia, CA...Reserve the second Saturday of every month for Gold Rush Days at Columbia State Historic Park. You’ll get to see inside special exhibits, stores and residences not regularly open to the public. Columbia’s Gold Rush Days is a chance to explore the historic town of Columbia and see it come alive with living history. Throughout town you will discover park docents interpreting what it looked, felt, and sounded like during the California Gold Rush.


Docents in period attire will provide lots of information on the structure of their featured building, nature of its business and equipment, contents of store merchandise, or interior décor of family homes, along with history of the times for visitors. If you’re lucky, the gambling table will be set up on the boardwalk for everyone to try their hand at betting against a mining camp gambler.
