Family owned and operated since 1983, we are the premier hot tub, stove and fireplace source in Calaveras, Tuolumne and Amador counties. Bill Deplitch is a general contractor and built many homes in the Arnold area from the late 70’s to the early 90’s. Today, along with his wife Barbara, they run High Country Spa and Stove Center along with their son Zachary who is the “go-to” service manager. High Country Spa and Stove Center brings to the table a wealth of valuable construction experience. It is this experience that sets them apart from the rest. In addition to retail services, their background in building enables them to tackle an entire project from decks and hot tub enclosures to remodels.

A wood stove, gas stove, pellet stove or fireplace compliments the luxury and relaxation of a hot tub. We have a wide selection, including Jotul and their full line of cast iron stoves, so whether you are looking for a fireplace or a traditional stove, you’ll find it here. Our fireplaces are supplied by Johnson Gas, specifically the Mendota Hearth Division, as well as Valor, which is manufactured by Miles Industries. We are also a Country Stove dealer, which is now owned by IHP.
