Sequoia Woods Country Club is located on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains, roughly between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park, at an elevation of 4000 feet. The club house is open to the public, with a bar and lounge, dining room and seasonal deli. The beautiful setting can be enjoyed from indoors or outside on the deck, with a view down the main tree-lined golf fairway.

The bar serves food several evenings each week and the restaurant is open for dinner every weekend. The dinner menu has a perfect variety of traditional favorites, with creative and contemporary preparations, and our guests marvel at the quality of cuisine to be found here, in this little mountain hamlet.

There is dancing in the lounge every Saturday night, with a DJ or frequent live bands. The deli opens its windows to the deck for an extended summer season, with tasty sandwiches, salads and hot specials. Special group events find our venue especially accommodating and fun. This is a truly lovely place to enjoy good food, good friends and good scenery.
08:00 PM Reckless Kelly Tonight At Frogtown!! Included with Admission!!
Angels Camp, CA..(Frogtown, USA)..We Love Red Dirt and Outlaw Country! After Ned Le Doux in 2017, you said give us more! So we are bringing you Reckless Kelly… “The Austin-based band were Americana before there really was such a term, combining roots, rock and country influences into an uncompromising musical approach that has earned the Grammy-winning group a very steadfast and loyal following. ”

– A Taste of Country

Reckless Kelly took its name from the legend of Ned Kelly, the Australian highwayman, and the three moved to Austin in the autumn of 1996, where they carved a niche of their own. Early on, Keen, a Texas legend himself, took them under his wing and became their first manager. They listened, watched and interacted with the creative dynamos of the outlaw country scene, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, Billy Joe Shaver, Guy Clark and others and joined them in a redefinition of what contemporary country music had become. Theirs was gritty, hard-edged, uncompromising and convincing. They turned country music real again.

Reckless Kelly’ s string of critically acclaimed albums Under the Table and Above the Sun (2003), Wicked Twisted Road (2005), Bulletproof (2008), Somewhere in Time (2010), Grammy-nominated Good Luck & True Love (2011) and Grammy-winning Long Night Moon (2013) set a standard of reliable excellence and commitment to an instinctive vision of Americana. No band exemplifies the broad genre better.Independent? Oh, yeah. Doggedly so. The group’s new album, Sunset Motel, is, like all its predecessors, distinctive in its own way while true to form. Self-produced and recorded in Austin’s renowned Arlyn Studios.

The concert will be May 18, 2018 at 8 p.m. on the Frogtown stage. The concert is free with the price of admission. Tickets go on sale on March 1, 2018. For more information about Reckless Kelly visit www.recklesskelly.com.
