Jackson, CA...At 5:30pm today there will be a community meeting held at Mel & Faye's Diner to plan a rally to save Prospect Motors. if General Motors and GMAC see a large contingent of people urging for the reopening of the dealerships that their decision might be reversed. Please send your email today to: Mark Laneve, Head of GM North American Operations at mark.laneve@gm.com and to Barbara Stokel, Head of GMAC at barbara.stokel@gmacfs.com

Writers are being urged to mention that owners of GM vehicles will now be forced to travel for dealership work and that small communities need really need local dealerships.

The purpose of the meeting today is to plan a rally to show community support for the dealerships.
