Supervisors Pass a Resolution Honoring CHP Officer Dallas "Jim" Clary on His Retirement ~by John Hamilton
San Andreas, CA...San Andreas resident and CHP Veteran Dallas "Jim" Clary was honored by a resolution that was passed by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors. Officer Clary was also honored by Senator Dave Cox's office for his years of service to his community and state. Former fellow CHP Officer and outgoing Supervisor Bill Claudino handled the ceremony. Supervisor Claudino even told a great story of how when Officer Clary was a younger and faster man he even chased and caught a suspect after ditching his shoes as he felt they were slowing him down...
Calaveras County Board of Supervisor, and Retired CHP Officer Bill Claudino #4112 (left), awards retired San Andreas CHP Officer Dallas Jim Clary #9174 a Resolution honoring his years of 21 years of service to Calaveras County.
It was also brought up that Officer Clary is a great community volunteer and Cub and Boy Scout leader. Supervisor Claudino also mentioned that now that Jim will have more time on his hands we can all expect the community involvement to increase to an even higher level.
Dana Jorgensen from State Senator Dave Cox's office was on hand to honor Officer Clary for his many years of service to the residents of California and Calaveras County.
