Second Annual Old Fashioned Holiday and Tree Lighting at Copper Town Square ~By Hanna Alldrin
Copperopolis, CA.....As the lights dimmed and people counted down from five the Copper Town Square was full of holiday cheer for the Second Annual Holiday and Tree Lighting Celebration. Little ones were dressed in their finest clothes drinking hot chocolate and singing Christmas carols, and not to forget riding on a snow white carriage with the one and only Santa Claus.....

"Santa kept me warm on the carriage ride, I asked for a new bright pink Dora bike for Christmas," shared seven year-old Savanna Ashlan.
The celebration began at three o'clock in the afternoon. People were shopping and sipping hot coco as the holiday season began for Copperopolis residents. As the sun began to set hundreds of people joined around the unlit Christmas Tree in the center of the town square. The chilly evening suddenly warmed as the tree was lit with beautiful Christmas greens, reds and golds.
Christmas is now only 24 days away. Come shop at the many fine stores in the Copper Town Square. You can find many home and garden items, local wines, fine clothing, kitchen supplies and much more.
