Suspicious Circumstance leads to an Arrest in Twain Harte
Twain Harte, CA....On November 13, 2008, Sheriff’s Units were dispatched to a reported suspicious circumstance in the 19000 Block of August Ct. in Twain Harte. A male subject called and reported that someone was going to kill him and then the line disconnected. Deputy Wayne Thompson responded to the address. When he arrived, he was met by an agitated, paranoid subject, later identified as Kenneth Creed. Creed admitted to using drugs and was acting very strangely. When Deputy Thompson attempted to detain Creed, he refused and....
began to run and resist Deputy Thompson’s commands. Deputy Thompson was eventually able to detain and hold Creed on the ground until other Sheriff’s Office units arrived to assist.
Deputy Imlach arrived a few minutes later. Creed continued to resist and refused to comply with Deputies Thompson and Imlach. Creed was Tased in order to gain compliance. Creed was finally detained and handcuffed. Due to the possibility that Creed was possibly under the influence of drugs, Deputies requested an ambulance to respond and take Creed to the hospital. While waiting for the ambulance, Creed attempted to kick out the windows of a patrol vehicle. When the ambulance arrived, he was transported to the hospital for a medical clearance.
Creed was released to the hospital. Charges are being filed against Creed for Resisting and Threatening a Public Officer and suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
