Saddle Creek Names Geoff Podgorny Head Golf Professional....Former Private Club Professional Brings Background in Member Services, Management and Instruction
Copperopolis, CA....Saddle Creek Resort – the gated, 900-acre Castle & Cooke golf community in the scenic Sierra Nevada foothills – today announces Geoff Podgorny has been named head golf professional. Podgorny previously served as first assistant golf professional at Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista from 2000-2008. His duties and accomplishments at the private club included purchasing and managing golf shop inventory, restructuring the golf services....
operation, overseeing a fairway renovation project, and helping increase outside tournament rounds and revenue by 25 percent from 2005-2007. Podgorny has extensive experience as an instructor and is a certified Titleist custom club fitter.
In addition to his member services, instruction, management and tournament coordination responsibilities, Podgorny will explore new uses for Saddle Creek’s technology to enhance the member and guest experience.
