Angels Camp, CA.....Drum, Drum, Drum, Drummmmmmm. The World Mercantile in Angels Camp held a lively and energetic drum circle for the first time this week. Talented drummer and musician Bobby G instructed the drum circle through rhythms and tempos. "Drumming is about communicating and finding a connection between one another in instrumental ways," says instructor Bobby G. A persons heart beat is a perfect example of what the drum circle sounds like. "A Drum circle is a place where your drums sounds the best," shared Bobby.
The Angels Camp drum circle sparked interest to locals of all ages. The topic to bring a drum circle to Angels Camp started from people who attended the weekly drum circle in Sonora. "If we have enough interest in our Mercantile drum circle we will make it a weekly event," shared Robinson. Over 15 people attended the drum circle Monday night and showed different talents to other inspiring drummers.
Come feel the vibration of the many diffrent sounds and types of drums. Your feet will be tingling below you. The next drum circle will be held on September 22nd from 6:30-8:00pm at the Angels Camp World Mercantile.
