Outage caused by the weather? The weather is calm. WTF? This is the worse outage at one time that I can remember since being a residence. I am going to miss Wheel of Fortune!

It is not the weather! Next they will say a squirrel did it. Classic PGE! And we were praising them during the storms because we all stayed on. Amazing, as always.

I haven't had my power out yet this year.
    I appreciate their hard work.
Thankless job, except for the great paychecks.

The linemen and workers in the field do a fabulous job! Problem is the executives not replacing equipment and doing preventive maintenance on the equipment. The issue is NOT the linemen and field workers whatsoever -they are heroes, period.

Heroes?? Years ago PG&E would stay out day and night until all customers had their power back on. Today they stop working when their shift is over and finish up the next day. This was before the invasion of the Bay Area transplants. If you think PG&E employees are heroes, then I can only imagine what you consider a nurse or doctor

Bull*bleep*. They are not heroes, they are working people. Many PG&E workers just don't retire until they HAVE TO because of the exorbitant wages they make.
They even laugh about that fact. So to call them heroes is a bit out there. Heroes save lives. PG&E workers make much denero for sometimes little or NO work. Props to them.

Sometimes mes when the weather is freezing the power lines get much heavier, like we read about happening back east. Back there the freeze is so bad it takes the poles down with them.
I use to work around PG&E crews a lot, those guys are not the problems, they're just doing the job with the equipment given to them. Theyre not the problem, it's the CEO and down, the fans on the board who make the decisions and the ass kissers under them
