The Pilgrim Story "Bradford's History of 'Plimoth Plantation" Full Text & Audio

Plymouth, MA...Much of the American Story of leaving oppression, self government & pioneering a new life comes through the story of the Mayflower, Plimoth Plantation and Colony. From the Mayflower Compact to working with and befriending the Native Americans our Thanksgiving Story starts here. Much of it stems from the account of William Bradford. This strips away what people say about what happened and takes it back to a first person account. On Thanksgiving we thought it would be a good time to post it in its entirety in both full text and audio format from project Gutenberg and Librivox. Click any of the images below to take you to the Full Text & Audio.

From a European perspective Thanksgiving is wonderful. Too bad the native Americans can't seem to get past the destruction caused by European colonization.
Venison and certain seafood got replaced by turkey, stuffing, and green bean casserole through the years.

Please don’t turn this into another WOKE issue. If you don’t care for this country then leave it. You people have no idea how fortunate we are to live here. Every country has some issues in their past but it seems like we are the only ones who ever get called out.

Let's forget about you ongoing juvenile dotard rants and talk about this Thanksgiving 'story.'
Unfortunately, it's damned light on the facts.
Years of research has proven that LOADS of weed were smoked at the first Thanksgiving.
Just sad, right wing brainwashing mythologists continue brushing that and other inconvenient historical facts under the rug.

Let us all just talk about how the DEMOCRAPS are ruining this country with their idiotic beliefs. Why do the DEMOCRAPS have sh*t for brains?

In Iran, Russia, China, the people are protesting authoritarian regimes, yet in America, due to the America myth, propaganda on Fox, in the churches, the Republicans, truth about American history is denigrated, as "woke".

Damn right, wake up, awakening America. What people with a conscious do.

Or, ignore, deny truth in the history.

Truth sets you free, lies are a cancer to the soul of a person or country.

Ask Germany , the rise of Nazism and it's moral failure is taught in All German schools.

It has nothing to do with the current GOP darling phrase of labeling "woke." It's merely an acknowledgment of true history. Nothing wrong with understanding the whole picture.

Yes, the early settlers did. But that soon changed.

Plimoth Plantation (yes, spelled with an "i" historically) is a wonderful, living reenactment of history and an awesome place to take family. But it should also be acknowledged this was the beginning of genocide for the native nations. Who the white man didn't eventually slaughter or force onto reservations, were wiped out by the diseases and alcohol brought by him.

you forget however the Patuxet needed the pilgrims to help protect them against other native Americans.

Yes we helped take out many of the Indians but many times it was Indians allying with others such as the French and Indian war and Indian vs Indian violence as well.

Biden Contradicted WH claims ( aka lies) that he was in RR strike talks
Posted on: 2022-11-25 05:54:19   By: Anonymous

HEADLINE NEWS THE LEFT MEDIA WILL NOT REPORT
( isn't that a sort of Collusion?)

"President Biden contradicted White House officials on Thursday, claiming not to have been directly in touch with either side in the looming national rail-road strike"
Biden told reporters in Nantucket, Massachusetts that negotiations between unions representing railroad workers and their employers were ongoing. The president added since the talks were ongoing, he himself had not engaged directly with any of the parties. "
And the marionettes who voted for him still believe everything fed to them...how sad to be them and so easily manipulated.

NASA is promoting it's new Artemis program, promising the return of American astronauts to the moon surface.
NASA has plans to deliver the first LGBTQ astronaut, the first woman astronaut, and the first dotard.
While most astronauts will make the return trip home, NASA isn't certain bringing the dotard back to earth represents any benefit to nation or mankind.

Put Trump in a module and fire him at warp speed ascension into hyper space. Send a couple cheeseburders with him he can cram into his pie hole.

    Biden once sat at Nantucket.
He looked at some ice cream,
then he had a wet dream,
    then he changed his depend,
    and said fukit.
