The 2022 Calaveras Grape Stomp & Gold Rush Street Fair Photos & Over Two Hours of Video!
Murphys, CA...The 2022 Calaveras Grape Stomp & Gold Rush Street Fair are in the books. The Dwelley Devastators Crushed the Competition to Take 2022 Calaveras Grape Stomp with 18.32 lbs of juice. Their wine gives them bragging rights and Murphys street cred that will last even after their reign is over. It was great to see Murphys Community park filled and a good crowd on Main Street. The crowd may not have been quite back to pre-covid levels but the Grape Stomp is back and already looking forward to the 30th Annual Grape Stomp in 2023! We have almost a hundred photos and wide shot video of the Costume Contest, Semi-Final and Finals. We also have some highlight video from the Gold Rush Street Fair on Main Street and a bit of handheld Grape Stomp video.

You do the community a disservice when you refer to pre-COVID numbers. COVID is still very much with us and break through cases happening regularly. The difference is if you've been vaxed and boosted, you likely won't end up hospitalized. This will be a super spreader event, for sure.

Irish days, grape stomp ect…… Fairgrounds. I would like my town back thank you. When the people that work in Murphys can no longer live in Murphys you will no longer have a community. Money ruins small towns. Being broke and rural is what made calaveras county calaveras county. Ps that small, quaint little town yer looking for died 30 years ago;)
