Request for Proposals for Professional Consulting Services for Environmental Impact Report and Associated Studies for Mission Ranch Subdivision
Calaveras County, CA....The County of Calaveras is seeking professional consulting services to prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Mission Ranch Project located between Highway 26 and Hwy 12 in Valley Springs, California. The Applicant has agreed upon the need for an EIR and a detailed Initial Study has not been prepared. Work to include, but not be limited to, the following....

1. Studies
a. It is anticipated that this EIR will be a complete project level document
encompassing all of the studies necessary to comply with the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Following circulation of the Notice of
Preparation (NOP) by Planning Department Staff, the selected consultant
for preparation of the EIR is expected to review the responses received and
prepare the appropriate scope and budget proposals. One preliminary
study has been prepared on behalf of the applicant, Preliminary Wetland
Analysis prepared by Wallace-Kuhl, Associates.
2. Draft and Final EIRs; Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, including all
public noticing, hearings; and other documentation required for compliance with CEQA.
3. Consultation with Responsible and Trustee Agencies, and Native American
representatives, as necessary to support environmental review and develop
appropriate mitigations.
