Calaveras Planning Commission will Conduct a Public Hearing on August 21st to Consider Approval of Lake Tulloch Project
Calaveras County, CA....The Calaveras County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on August 21, 2008, at 9:00 a. m. to consider possible approval or recommendation of approval for the following projects based upon Negative Declarations. 2005-073, Tentative Subdivision Tract Map, conditional Use Permit, and Planned Development for Lake Tulloch Investors: The Applicant is requesting approval of a Tentative Subdivision.....

Tract Map (TSTM), Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and Planned Development permit (PD). The project site is located on Lake Tulloch and contains approximately 2.78 acres, currently vacant and undeveloped. The site is zoned R3-PD with a maximum density of 12 units/acre. The proposal includes subdivision into 14 residential lots containing between 1,612 to 3,212 square
feet along with common areas. Fourteen (14) townhomes, ranging in size from 1,677 to 2,736 square feet are to be constructed. Access is off Conner Estates Drive, controlled by a private gate located at the development entrance. The project is located off Conner Estates Road west of O’Byrnes Ferry Road approximately 1.5 miles north of the O’Byrnes Ferry Road Bridge.
(Apn: 061-057-001 is a portion of Section 30, Township 1 North, Range 13 East, M.D.M). Pursuant to Section 15072 of the State CEQA Guidelines the County proposes to adopt Negative Declarations or Mitigated Negative Declarations for the above described projects. All concerned citizens, organizations, and agencies are invited to attend the public hearing or to submit written comments relating to the Negative Declarations and above mentioned projects during this public review period.
The Initial Study and the proposed negative declarations are available for public review at the Calaveras County Planning Department, Government Center,
891 Mt. Ranch Road, San Andreas, California 95249, during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Copies of the project file, staff report and/or negative declaration can be purchased at the Planning Department for the cost of making the copies.
