Deceased Body Found Near Cleo's Path in the Pinecrest Lake Area
Pinecrest Lake, CA....On August 14, 2008, a subject attempting to locate a cell phone signal to make a call for help for an injured hiker; reported they saw a possible deceased person, near Cleo’s Bath, in the Pinecrest lake area. After assisting the injured person, Pinecrest Fire Department responded to the remote area and confirmed that the Gleason was deceased.....
Tuolumne County Coroner’s, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Detectives, CHP Air Support and Pinecrest Fire personnel assisted in the recovery of the body.
Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Division identified the body as 52 Year Old Robert Gleason from Napa CA. Gleason was reported as a missing person on 08/09/08. He was last seen in Napa CA. The family has been notified of the death by Napa PD.
On August 10, 2008, Gleason’s vehicle was located on the 100 Blk of Rustic Drive in Pinecrest. A search of the area was conducted by Tuolumne County SAR, Tuolumne County Boating Enforcement and a CHP Air Unit. They were unable to locate Gleason.
