Time to release the name or names of who caused this! If it was PGE you would have done it immediately, so what’s the hold up CDF? By the way, anyone with some balls been by the house in Murphys and checked on the CDF employee that left town 2 weeks ago, hooked to his 5th. Wheel, a full time paid employee, is on vacation constantly, works on his house during his supposed shift! Cal-Fire is a joke, and yes I may need a truck load of kid’s to protect my property someday, but employees that are scamming the system need to be confronted,my tax money or anybody else’s shouldn’t be spent on scam artists!

CalFire is no different than other government agencies. It has gone from an organization of dedicataed fire fighters back in the day, to a bunch of gravy trainers on the trough today. Each and every one of them collecting big paychecks and counting their days off up. And overhead? Each and everyone has a brand new pickup, big salary, early retirement, yada, yada, yada. They LOOK FORWARD to big fires so they can rack up CTO and big paydays. No different than PG&E's overhead who look forward to fires so they can shut down the grid, and justify huge rate increases to cover their asses. Its all going to hell and a handbasket.

Sounds like you should have chosen a different line of work to set yourself up for a better retirement and earned vacation time. You seem to be unhappy, and sitting behind your typewriter to bring others down with you.
Many people have respect for those who have chosen to put their lives on the line day in and day out, sacrificing their personal lives both physically and mentally.
Hats off to those who choose any line of work that puts their lives at risk, so their communities and country can live a safer life.

Shut up and quit trying to defend that you are on the dole too.

The actual physical workers are not what the poster was talking about. Open your eyes and take a look at all those that never get dirty or supervise. You will see them running from restaurant to restaurant , the hardware store or at home.

The lower paid young people are the ones that are climbing the hills with packs and hand tools, putting out hot spots. Also the crew trucks carrying prisoner crews. I've seen several from Southern California here this week.

You have an obvious issues with the agency and I would love to sit with you and clear up all the misunderstandings you have. I had 26 years with CDF into CALFIRE. I spent many time away from my family. To have time off requires putting in for your date a year in advance, if you get them. So please have respect for that person's property and not tell the world when his home is vacant. Please let me know when you wish to meet
