PG&E Not the Cause of the Electra Fire & Beginning Damage Assessments

Amador & Calaveras, CA...PG&E continues to respond to outages affecting approximately 12,000 customers in parts of Amador and Calaveras Counties. PG&E has deenergized several distribution lines for firefighter safety in the area at the request of Cal Fire crews battling the Electra fire. Cal Fire has granted PG&E access to priority areas of the fire to begin damage assessments.

PG&E is in the process of developing restoration plans for non-impacted lines that were de-energized for firefighter safety. This will allow PG&E to restore some impacted customers.

PG&E has been working closely with Cal Fire and has 11 Safety and Infrastructure Protection Team (SIPT) engines working to treat assets that could be impacted by the fire.

Based on the reported location and timing of the Electra Fire and subsequent PG&E outages, PG&E understands PG&E equipment was not involved in the ignition.

They fought, denied went to court when they knew they started many fires, get real.
They didn't start this one, 2 others so far (2022) their equipment did.
