Mornings with the One Percent™ Live Weekdays 7-10am, This Morning's Replays are Below!

Arnold, CA…Mornings with the One Percent™ is live weekday mornings from 7-10am. The premise for the show is that the USDA ranked all 3,142 counties or county equivalents in the USA on a livability or desirability scale based on factors such as climate, scenic beauty, bodies of water for recreation, humidity and much more. All of our area ranked not only in the top one percent but in the top one half of one percent. So in the ups and downs of daily life remember you don’t have to be a Gates, Buffett or Bezos to live like the one percent. Just live here!

Oh joy the week of the fair >< let’s welcome all the Flatlanders with their crime, litter, drugs, and drama with open arms! Who cares about the local environment anyway? The sheriffs department and CHP and any other law enforcement will ignore the illegal things the Flatlanders do unless it will get them on tv or the internet. It’s interesting that the things Flatlanders get away with because of their dirty money they spend up here.

My advice is: Lock your doors and secure your belongings because the Flatlanders will steal literally anything not nailed or bolted down. It will be interesting to see exactly how much the local crime rates go up and it’s not if they do it’s when they do be sure to thank the fair board members or anybody who supports the fair or even goes to it. It’s their fault because just like law enforcement their blinded to the truth because of the Flatlander’s dirty money!

what is 'dirty' about their money? and can you cite evidence that they cause more crime than our local scumbags?

Yes, I can prove they cause more crime!

3 weeks ago Walmart Jewelry counter was broken into and over 25,000 dollars worth of jewelry was stolen. Thank goodness they were all caught out there by chicken ranch. Since you are wondering yes it was 3 Flatlanders! Flatlanders ruin everything!

So, they were planning on camping out at the Frog Jump RV park waiting to pull off a strong arm robbery at on of the Carnival booths.

You'd rather we cancel the fair? Or checked ID and only allowed in locals? (In which case it wouldn't work financially.)

If you don't like the fair, don't come. You don't sound like the sort of person we want coming.

It’s funny how all the people who support the fair will not talk about how destroyed the fairgrounds are the Monday after the fair. They just ignore it and act like nothing happened.

It’s interesting ThePineTree Staff won’t run a story about how the crime rates go up during the fair and all the graffiti and litter all over the fairgrounds the Monday after the fair.

Proves my point that it’s not just the law enforcement who is blinded by the Flatlander’s dirty money it’s also everyone else who goes to the fair or supports it in anyway!

      Told You So.

The interim report from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction called the US decision to withdraw – conceived by the Trump administration in 2020 and implemented by the Biden administration in 2021 – the “single most important factor” behind the collapse of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces.

The inspector general’s report, which also cast significant blame on decisions made by former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, is one of the deepest examinations to date at the reasons behind the stunning fall of the Afghan government last summer that saw the Taliban rapidly take control of Afghanistan amid a full US withdrawal following a 20-year war.

The interim report is another damning indictment of the failed planning and strategy that plagued America’s vision for Afghanistan, even as special inspector general John Sopko wrote that the eventual collapse was “predictable.” The US repeatedly set goals for the Afghan military that were unattainable, implemented metrics that delivered success while obfuscating the real problems and poured resources into solutions that only exacerbated the issues they were meant to fix.

“After 20 years of training and development, the ANDSF never became a cohesive, substantive force capable of operating on its own. The U.S. and Afghan governments share in the blame,” the inspector general wrote. “Neither side appeared to have the political commitment to doing what it would take to address the challenges, including devoting the time and resources necessary to develop a professional ANDSF, a multi-generational process. In essence, U.S. and Afghan efforts to cultivate an effective and sustainable security sector were likely to fail from the beginning. The February 2020 decision to commit to a rapid U.S. military withdrawal sealed the ANDSF’s fate.”

The Doha agreement, signed between the Trump administration and the Taliban in February 2020, shattered the fragile morale of the Afghan military, according to the SIGAR report. The Pentagon, over 20 years, had attempted to create a “mirror image to the US military,” the report found – something that never materialized and would have required years more training and assistance.

By 2020, Afghan forces still relied far too heavily on US personnel and support, despite $90 billion of investment by the United States over the course of the war.

The Pentagon defended its decades of training and equipping the ANDSF, asserting that an independent Afghan military backed by US support was “very nearly within reach.”

“While not perfect and faced with many residual challenges such as rampant corruption and desertion, the ANDSF had grown to exhibit competency in securing most of Afghanistan’s population centers and had taken over all offensive operations against the Taliban to include the vast majority of airstrikes,” said Army Major Rob Lodewick, a Defense Department spokesperson.

I think it was a sound move to withdrawal all US military personnel before any military equipment, US citizens and Afghanistan green card holders who helped us for 20 years and our Allies didn't need to know of our plans, just where did they think the buck stops in America?

What a beautiful day it is
Posted on: 2022-05-18 09:00:36   By: Anonymous

I do remember better days way way back in the day of yesteryear, but I've heard many years ago people had to wait in long lines at gas stations. Hard to believe that though.

Do you remember when we were a sovereign nation, the border was under control, gas prices were ridiculously low compared to now, Mass Shootings we're 400 % less then today, violent crime, rapes, Shootings we're way below today's numbers, there was no inflation, our Allies respected us, our adversaries feared us, no supply chain crisis, baby food was available, remember when Trump created Operation Warp Speed and the entire left said impossible it would take 5 years, remember when there were only 400,000 dead Americans and under Biden it's over ONE MILLION Americans DEAD because he and his VP bad mouthed the Three Vaccines Trump gave him? Remember when there was Peace in the Middle East, other countries entering into peace agreements with Israel, Russia stayed inside their own border, the military, law enforcement respected the POTUS, Remember when teachers taught students reading writing and But all of that was wayyyy back (like 16 months ago) before president dementia and vice president Whore took over.

Is your definition of "peace in the middle east" the Afgan war we were in the middle of under Trump?

Or did you forget about his promise (and failure) to get us out.

    What about the huge unemployment?
