Latest News on the beautiful Sierra Logging Museum
White Pines, CA....The Sierra Logging Museum's web site, www.sierraloggingmusuem.org has grown to the point where it has a lot of logging history and information on it. The site is averaging about 100 hits each day, so obviously it is attracting interest from across the country......

Two new sections should be of particular interest to the readers of the Pine Tree. There is a section with photographs of the Linebaugh logging operation, along with a history of truck acquisition by Doc over the years. There is also a rather extensive photo display about Ed Adams, the Blagen Mill's last, and perhaps best liked, mill superintendent.
Not quite so local, but there also is a section with photos from the Tiger Creek Lumber operation in Amador County. Some quite spectacular old photographs.
To find any of these, go to the website, look to the index on the right side of the page, and click on what you'd like to see.
