According to 2018 statistics a visitor spent on average of $144 per day when visiting an area. So it is simple math to multiply average daily spend times number of visitors per year.
The poster who claims $200 million a year is probably very close.

No, I don't agree with canceling the fair. The fair does a lot of good for the kids up here. Democrats don't care enough for our kids and their future. Democrats and those Dem teachers in Dem cities want to make them second guess what sex they are, wanting to change them, molest them, instead of teach them the basics of reading writing and arithmetic. The fair helps many kids like the livestock, FFA, responsibility of raising livestock and many other things. The fair isn't just fun, games and carnival rides.
If only we could keep out the democrats, less drugs, less violence, heck violent crime would be about non- existence.

Check the local crime rates during the fair. They shoot way up! So many vehicles accidents, drug deals, thefts, and so much other crimes it’s not worth it. Anyone stop and think about the cops and other emergency services have to be away from their families to babysit the Flatlanders during the fair? Nope. All you all think about is the instant gratification and nothing/ nobody else. Fuk the fair! It’s not worth it!
