Chris Isaak and Boz Scaggs Rocked the Stage Saturday Night ~By Hanna Alldrin
Murphys, CA....Ladies hold on tight, because Chris Isaak and Boz Scaggs will make you melt into your seats. Platinum-Selling artist Chris Issak and Grammy Award winning artist Boz Scaggs rocked the stage last Saturday night at the beautiful Ironstone Amphitheater in Murphys. 8,000 people sat in the audience and were wowed by both performers hopelessly romantic ballets. This was the first time these two great artists have ever shared the stage. Boz Scaggs stepped on the Ironstone stage for the very first time, while Chris Isaak returns to our county for a second outstanding performance...

Texas native, Boz Scaggs, combines rock, jazz, R&B and blues to create a trademark sound for his fans. With an extensive and distinctive career that has spanned over 30 years and many performances, Scaggs continues to create easy listening jazz and romantic blues ballets for his adoring fan group.
"I started listening to Boz when I was 16 years old. Ohhhh, Ohhhh Lido......His famous song Lido rocked me out of my seat. The energy and charisma Boz brings to the stage makes me and my girlfriends sing and dance all night long," shared Amy Hausting from Cold Springs.
Taking to the stage in a bright red flaming suit, Chris Isaak humored and awed his audience with his outstanding performance. "Performing in Murphys is like performing in New York or Paris, you have to connect deeply with your audience," shared Chris Isaak. With the mix of classic Isaak songs and famous Elvis remixes, Chris had his audience instantly tapping their feet and clapping their hands.
"Chris Isaak has prolific love ballets and he's very good looking," shared Pamela Richman. Women in the audience went nuts when Chris used his modern day Elvis moves, hip circles and thrusts. The most exciting part of the energetic show was when Chris stepped into the crowed. During the second song Chris walked through the crowded amphitheater and sang directly in front of his screaming fans. Chris ended the night with a bang and came back on stage after the crowed screamed encore, encore, encore.
The next Ironstone concert will be held on August 9th. Steely Dan and special guest Joey Defrancesco will take the stage and perform another great summer concert.
