Mark Twain St. Joseph to Offer Free School Physicials
San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital has announced the availability of Free School Physicals for Calaveras and Tuolumne County students. The hospital is offering this community benefit through August at the Family Medical Centers located in Valley Springs and Copperopolis. Appointments must be made and a Sports Physical or School Entry Form presented at the time of the exam....
“This is a great benefit to our families who have school-age children who need physicals” said hospital president Feliciano Jiron. “Dr. Troy Tran in Valley Springs and Dr. Paul Nguyen in Copperopolis are both anxious to provide this service and meet with the families.”
Families can make appointments for the physicals by contacting the Family Medical Center in Valley Springs at 772-9538 or the Family Medical Center in Copperopolis at 785-7000.
Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital is a not-for-profit, 48-bed general acute care hospital serving all of Calaveras County. Established in 1951 as Mark Twain District Hospital and centrally located in San Andreas, the hospital is partnered with Catholic Healthcare West to further strengthen this rural hospital to meet future community needs. The hospital is supported by 47 active physicians practicing in 24 specialties.
