Bolillo is Your Calaveras Pet of the Week! Adopt Him Today!!
San Andreas, CA...COME MEET BOLILLO! AO54032 Bo is a German shepherd mix, neutered male, est. 3 years, 87 pounds available for adoption now. Handsome Bo was left on a property as a guard dog and only saw people once a week, so he ran away to find a friend. Bo needs people and other dogs, lots of companionship, so he is looking for a person or family who will spend a lot of time with him.
He must have been cute as a pup: his real name, Bolillo, means “little bread roll”. He is that adorable, too! He is learning English, so hand signals work best, plus he takes treats with a soft mouth. Bo is very attentive and checks in frequently with his handler.
He enjoys all the dogs he has met but one and wants to play. He has had several successful playdates with 2 neutered males and a female. A meet and greet is required if you have a dog already.
We believe he is housebroken since he keeps his kennel clean.
Bo would love nothing more than to go home with you now. Come meet him!

All dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered dogs AND cats must be neutered before they can go home with you.
Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off––reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.
