Speaking of drugs.... Bob Baffert and the Santa Anita racetrack just killed another horse. This time it was Baffert's dope enhanced Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit. Baffert kills enough horses to subsidize a small time pet food factory. Sad. All horses deserve better.

Both parties have blocked any reforms of anything, drug pricing included.
The reason is enough of Congress are owned by big pharma.
Just another example of the SCOTUS Roberts decision- Citizens United .
It allowed ownership of our representatives which was illegal before the Roberts decision.
Until unlimited contributions to our representatives is outlawed , we will have no corporate reforms most all want.
Now in 16 states the Republicans have passed laws to take the vote from the people, and let the GOP legislatures anoint their representatives.
The division of partisanship , has poisoned our ability to control the corporations.
Its up to us to unite and demand reforms...or not and watch the oligarchy take completely, they are almost there.

Meanwhile, Trump has just set up David Perdue to challenge Governor Kemp in Georgia - still trying to put the odds in his favor in the next presidential election. You all surely remember the Perdues - the big pharma family and makers of oxycontin who made no apologies for contributing to the opioid epidemic in this country. And yet so many of you believe Trump actually cares.
Oh! So it was Trumps fault for the opioid crisis!!! This country accelerated downhill with bthe election of Obummer. Your stupid statement is simply stupid. Opioids are still being used and actually help people.....;.particularly post surgery. Nothing in the literature encourages chronic use of these drugs, unless you are terminal. Bad actor Doc's & criminal circullation of them are the problem. Even Donald Trump as President of USA cannot write an RX, let alone schedule twon drugs......Biden may find a way though.....
