The Next Redistricting Draft Map Public Hearing is Today at 11am

San Andreas, CA...The next  draft map public hearing is scheduled for November 9, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Board of Supervisors Chambers.  The community is encouraged to attend the hearing and provide input on the draft maps.  The agenda packet is available online on the Board of Supervisors website under Board Meetings.

All map alternatives are viewable in the map viewer on the redistricting website. The map viewer allows you to turn on other mapping layers that may be of interest to you, such as cities and special districts.

The public may continue to utilize community mapper to submit community of interest maps and to make public comments.  Written public comments and paper maps may also be submitted to the County Registrar of Voters Office, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA 95249.

Please contact the County Clerk at redistricting@co.calaveras.ca.us, or call (209)754-6376 with any questions or comments.  More information is available on the County Webpage under Redistricting.

BOS Hacks work to protect themselves. . .

This is another travesty by the narrow-minded BOS - its all about us, not you, the residents. Their selfish attempt to draw redistricting lines without disrupting their current districts is a mockery of their responsibility.

The level of dishonesty and corruption is on full display in this exercise with most board member clueless and unable to participate constructively in the process.

They have a superior redistricting map to choose from: Public Draft 1A but they choose to ignore the superior solution for their own safe-harbors and comfort zones. . .

Disgusting, greedy, self-serving performance on full display in this exercise.
