Moderate Injuries in Head On Collision on Pattison Road

Valley Springs, CA...A Wallace man was driving his vehicle south on Pattison Rd approaching the intersection with S Camanche Pkwy. A Manteca man was driving his vehicle north on S Camanche Pkwy approaching the oncoming Toyota. For an unknown reason the Wallace man allowed the Toyota to enter the northbound lane, into the path of the approaching Mustang. The Mustang driver turned his vehicle to the left to avoid a collision at the same time that the Wallace man turned his Toyota back to the right and re-entered the the southbound traffic lane. The two vehicles impacted head-on in the southbound traffic lane.

No alcohol and/or drug use is suspected in this collision.

The recall was voted on at a cost of more than a quarter billion dollars and it did not pass.

A vehicle in your lane.

My driver training instructor warned of moving into the oncoming lane to avoid a driver in your lane as it risks a head-on collision. Maybe dive in the gutter or head out into a field rather than the free lane.
