Vehicle vs Tree Collision Takes Life of 24 Year Old

Groveland, CA...On September 15, 2021, at approximately 3:10 pm, a 24-year-old male from Westland, Michigan was driving a 2001 Nissan Altima westbound on State Route 120 near Ferretti Road at a high rate of speed. The driver allowed his vehicle to travel to the right where it left the roadway onto the north shoulder of State Route 120. Before the driver could bring his vehicle back onto the roadway, it crashed into a tree.

After impacting the tree, the vehicle came to rest on its wheels. The driver of the vehicle succumbed to his injuries at the scene. It was determined he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

It is unknown at this time if drugs and/or alcohol were a factor. This crash is under investigation and the driver’s name is being held pending family notification.

Guess he should of gone the speed limit, payed attention, took drivers Ed classes serious, at least he didn't take someone else out with him. Not trying to be mean but speed kills.
Condolences to the family and friends of someone who shouldn't of been taken from life so young.

Very sad indeed. And the below comment is by no means alluding to this incident. But since the PT posted 2 traffic alerts one after the other I thought Id share.

In the space of 2 hrs this past weekend, I had a car from Nevada sit inches from the back of my truck between 6 mile and the traffic light in Angels (49 and 4). I was doing 60 mph.
Got the finger from the young male when I stopped at the light.
Coming back from Appaloosa to Angels. Same thing. California car on my tail, 60mph. Overtook me on a solid line on a bend. Got the finger. Young male again.
He barely made it before oncoming traffic arrived.
Reckless, negligent and dangerous driving and unfortunately innocents pay the price.
