I saw on another article that Tom McClintock wrote a letter to the lady in charge of all federal forest fire personnel and now I'm thinking that "heads will probably roll" soon because this major screw up within the bureaucracy of the USFS. So the dirty laundry is eventually come out soon and then we'll see who is really as fault. It's such a shame this had to happen and could have been "nipped" right at the beginning. Shameful!

So Tommy M crawled out of his hole now that political points are to be made.
How about being proactive? Blame is a easy thing to throw around after the fact.
Maybe raking the forest would help.

Tom McClintock cannot get anyone off the dime - his letter is meaningless to USFS.

July 5th, 6th request for 2 strike team denied.
      A stitch in time...
If USFS couldn't spare 2 requested.
      Denied.
So allow locals to nip it.
      Nope, OUR TURF usfs.
      Thanks a-holes.

I’m curious as to who actually told them the fire was out of control?? Shows how they really don’t give a darn. They should all be missing a couple pay checks, all of them!

Hypocritical as he has blocked additional funding for federal fire resources. So we already know how this will play out and her answer will be - if we had additional resources in place, we would have started suppression earlier. McClintock is just grandstanding and trying to stay relevant.

        WRONG!
The Forestry problem was LONG before Biden - the BIG ONE did not do one thing to fix it. Wake up and smell the coffee.

The USFS are the masters of deflection and double talk in order to slip out of their negligence, they have been doing this for years! The only way is for a Board of Supervisors to commission an outside investigation.

But killing a portion of the Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway as a destination for 20 years is ok?
