Governor Newsom Celebrates June Jobs Report

Sacramento, CA...Governor Gavin Newsom released the following statement regarding today’s June jobs report, which showed that California added 73,500 new jobs last month. This follows 94,700 jobs created in May, 102,000 jobs created in April, 132,400 jobs created in March and 156,100 jobs created in February – for a total of 558,700 new jobs:

“California continues to lead the nation’s economic recovery, adding 73,500 new jobs in May. Before the pandemic, a 98,500-job increase was California’s largest job gain on record; since February, we’ve averaged 111,740 new jobs per month. These are promising figures that represent paychecks for Californians, but we still have a long way to go and refuse to take anything for granted – the $100 billion California Comeback Plan makes investments right back into Californians, the biggest economic stimulus program in state history to bring us roaring back.”

The June jobs report is based on survey data from the week of 6/06-12. From February 2021 through June 2021, California added 558,700 total non-farm payroll jobs. Of the 2,714,800 jobs lost in March and April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, California has now regained 1,470,500 non-farm payroll jobs, or 54.2 percent. June’s unemployment rate was 7.7 percent, down from 14.1 percent a year ago.

    Governor Gavin Newsom Failed Californians
Unaffordable housing. Record homelessness. Rising crime. Failing schools. Independent contractors thrown out of work. Exploding pension debt. And now, a locked down population while the prisons are emptied. Hold Gavin Newsom accountable. Gavin Newsom must go.
VOTE YES to RECALL Gavin Newsom and here is why: Gavin Newsom’s policies are bad for California, bad for business, and he is soft on crime. Since taking office the problems facing us have grown and his policies have only made them worse. Everywhere you look, Gavin Newsom’s failures of are obvious. For the first time in history California population declined businesses closed, corporations left and a congressional seat was lost as a result. REBUILD the California, VOTE YES to RECALL Gavin Newsom.

Governor Newsom is soft on crime. He signed SB 145 referred to as the “Pedophile Bill” into law. His mass release of prisoners have led to a spike in crime, increased homelessness and the deterioration of our great state. Californians pay the highest cost of living, the highest taxes of any state. Yet crime is soaring, electricity is unreliable, our roads are crumbling, our water supply is insufficient, water is rationed, and the mismanaged forests are burning. To make things worse he released many of the CDC fire crews, cut their budget and closed CDC fire camps. NOW he is closing Susanville State Prison, where fire crews were housed, eliminating a valuable resource and crippling the local economy. Gavin Newsom misled the people and lied about forest land cleared for fire prevention as California enters a dangerous fire season.

VOTE YES to RECALL Gavin Newsom.

Under Gavin Newsom our public schools have failed, California was ranked 37th, K – 12 nationwide and our kids have lost a year plus of vital learning. He removed the teacher’s authority to maintain discipline in the classroom and imposed the controversial sexual education curriculum.

VOTE YES to RECALL Gavin Newsom.

During 2021 Newsom’s Employment Development Department paid est. $31 billion tax dollars in fraudulent claims! He misused our gas tax money for purposes not intended and held those funds hostage to force state housing requirements on local municipalities. He now seeks to take local zoning away from cities and impose state mandates upon them through AB 9 and 10.

He kept people from attending church, closed schools, supported open borders and the mass release of criminals while he closed our state and shut down the economy. Newsom is bad for California.

VOTE YES to RECALL Gavin Newsom

We saw an increase of 6.8% in homelessness between 2019 and 2020, the largest increase of any state in that time frame. California has the highest level of functional poverty in the U.S., Slightly more than 36 percent of California’s residents are at or near the poverty level, more than one third of its population. Gavin Newsom and the elite are getting richer while the average Californian is getting poorer. We cannot afford another 17 months of Gavin Newsom.

This is a groundswell movement (Of THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE!). Citizens from all walks of life, the entire political spectrum, every ethnicity, culture and race support this recall.

VOTE YES to RECALL Gavin Newsom.

Yes, thank you governor Newsom for absolutely nothing!

Thank you for cheating on your wife TWICE! The first time was with his best friends wife!!! If you all don’t believe me look it up it’s true!

Thank you for making this state a shi*hole. Thank you for setting rules that you don’t even follow.

Thank you for the huge increase of homelessness and businesses closing!

Thank you for lying to all of us when you said you kids were distance learning but truthfully they were already back in school.

Thank you for giving yourself a huge pay raise while the rest of the state workers took a huge pay cut.

Thank you for finally ending your reign of tyranny on September 15th.

Too many families and businesses have suffered long enough under Newsom so do the right thing on September 14th 2021 #RecallNewsom
