The 2021 Mokelumne Hill 4th of July Parade. Full Video & 135 Photos

Mokelumne Hill, CA...This morning Mokelumne Hill becamd the personification of Small Town Americana. Old Glory was flying & Red White & Blue were the color choices for today. Mountain Melody Women's Chorus led things off with a wonderful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. CCWD Board Member Russ Thomas let the crowd in America the Beautiful and then it was Parade time. Dean Kelaita, MD was the Grand Marshal for 2021 especially in light of his efforts during the Covid pandemic.  Full Video Below and Links to 135 higher Parade Photos that you can also watch in a full screen slide show.

This event truly had a post pandemic feel and crowd sizes wee almost back to pre pandemic level. The Mokelumne Hill Lions Club did their usual wonderful job as we celebrated our independence on our Nation's Birthday.

If haven't had the chance to spend the 4th of July in Mokelumne Hill you need to put it on your schedule for next year.

Idea: go back to the bay so you can watch LGBT parades instead. Quit whining, if you hate it here then move where you fit in.

During the next week or so the Sheriff report will come out and we will all see exactly how much Crime, Litter, & Drama the flatlanders brought up to the parade.

But won't' report on how they spent enough money to keep most of us employed for another 90 days.

Stop pretending there is only one side to this. If you don't like our community just move.

Squad member Cori Bush sparks outrage by saying she won't celebrate Independence Day because 'this land is stolen and black people still aren't free'

Congresswoman Cori Bush sparked controversy on Sunday with a tweet in which she said Independence Day was only a holiday for white people.

'When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people,' she wrote. 'This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free.'

Bush, who was first elected to the House of Representatives in November, has been widely viewed as the newest member of the so-called 'Squad' of congresswomen known for being outspoken on their left-wing views, and she is no stranger to controversy.

In May she was mocked for referring to mothers as 'birthing people,' in a speech before congress, and in June, she called for reparations after the House approved a bill making Juneteenth a federal holiday.

Backlash to her latest comment was swift.

Journalist Andy Ngo asked her: 'Should the United States be dissolved in your opinion and people deported to their ethnic country of origin (rather recent or historical)?'

Buzz Patterson, a Republican running for congress in California replied: 'Singlehandedly, @coribush has dishonored every Black person who ever fought for this nation, sprinkled a little Marxism into the mix, and lied about the history of America. Well done, Democrats. Well done.'

Journalist Kyle Becker posted: 'There are plent of black American who have taken advantage of Freedom to succeed: Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Clarence Thomas, to name a few. How is there "systemic racism" when we had a black president, VP, Scotus justice? Because of hard work & opportunity. Stop Lying.'

'If White supremacy was really running the show, you wouldn't be allowed to post this- much less as a Congresswoman!' wrote former Trump administration Department of Commerce official Kyle Hooten.

Travis Wines tweeted: 'Black people aren’t free? Your district hasn’t had a white representative in over 50 years. You, a black woman, went from being a nurse to being elected to one of the highest offices in the country. How much more freedom are you looking for?

'You’re one of the most powerful people on the planet. The blood of so many of every color was spilled to provide you that opportunity. How sad to not recognize their sacrifice and, instead, promote racial division,' wrote Douglas Karr.

Woke Athlete Gwen Berry Posted Xenophobic Tweets, Rape Joke
Posted on: 2021-07-05 07:30:03   By: Anonymous

Underscoring once again how the most performatively ‘woke’ people are trying to compensate for past behavior, old offensive tweets posted by ‘activist athlete’ Gwen Berry have emerged in which she made rape jokes and xenophobic comments.

Berry made headlines recently after turning her back on the U.S. national anthem, a reaction the Team USA hammer thrower is almost certainly set to repeat if she wins medals at the Tokyo Olympics.

However, just as in the case of U.S. female soccer star Megan Rapinoe, old tweets have emerged from a period of time when Berry’s woke credentials would have been severely questioned.

Several tweets exposed by the New York Post reveal Berry to have made anti-white, anti-Asian and anti-Mexican remarks.

“Mexicans just don’t care about ppl,” she wrote in 2012.

“This lil white boy being bad as hell!! I would smack his ass then stomp him!! Smh #whitepplKids hella disrespectful,” she said in another 2011 tweet.

“Just saw this gurl wearing heels with white socks!! What the Hell..#chineseppl always try to start new trends..smh..ggguuurrrllll,” Berry posted in 2011.

She also made a rape joke, tweeting, “I’m about to rape my lunch. [Shout out] to all the females that’s gon get drunk, get recked by 4 dudes, then cry rape this weekend.”

“The posts came before her Olympic career, the Post article notes, and when she was in her 20’s,” reports Zero Hedge. “However, we all know that such items would not have been – and have not been – off limits for a “woke” SJW that will use any excuse to cancel someone that doesn’t surrender to their ideologies. ”

When Rapinoe’s anti-Asian slur was unearthed, she ignored the issue all together and the media completely failed to hold her to her own rules.

No doubt Berry will also get off without any scrutiny from a media and a woke mob that only enforces its ideological purity standards when the target isn’t a member of their cult.
